Become an UP PAC endorsed candidate

First, candidates should complete our questionnaire. Click Apply below.

Second, click on Campaign Plan Template and follow the directions for completion and submission. The Campaign Plan Example provided will help candidates make the most out of their submission.

Third, for candidates in a primary, the deadline to apply for an UP PAC endorsement is April 1st. Candidates will be interviewed by four or more Board members around April 7th, 2025. UP PAC will donate $1000 to endorsed candidates in a primary.

For candidates running in the general election, endorsement applications are due by May 1st, and interviews will be in May. Funds will be dispersed in two rounds. The first installment is up to $500 and the second, which is also up to $500, will be dispensed upon meeting certain campaign goals candidates set for themselves in their campaign plan. Endorsement announcements will be around June 1st for general election candidates.

The Board plans on announcing its first endorsed candidates on May 12th, 2025.

You can’t win without a plan. Our candidates must have the following:

  • Budget plan

  • Win number and field plan

  • Messaging plan

Your Team

Running a political campaign is a team effort. We strongly advise candidates to have a “kitchen cabinet” of friends and supporters with a variety of skills to help you win. We recommend the following roles:

  • Campaign manager

  • Treasurer

  • Volunteer coordinator
